The Pierogi is a delightful pasta shell full of quality potatoes with cheese or onions or combinations. Pierogies also are sometimes filled with mushrooms, sauerkraut, and vegetables. The heritage of the pierogle is authentically Polish, but the concept of a dough wrapper to a meat or cheese filling is virtually universal. Its Jewish cousin is the kreplach. Both pierogies and kreplach may be boiled, fried, sautéed or even put in soups.

Vegetarian Recipes - Cayenne Lentil Roll
One of my favorite ways to enjoy the power protein punch of lentils is in a Cayenne Lentil Roll. I created this dish after my first trip to Texas. There was something about cowboy hats, country music and that overall southern feel that brought out this bold and spicy dish loaded full of lentils. After all, they say everything is bigger in Texas, so why not apply that to little lentils too!

Fried Rice Recipe Made Easy
"My fried rice recipe seems to be jinxed", mourned my best friend, with the pathos befitting the protagonist of a Shakespeare tragedy. "The rice always resembles a mangled white mass, and the woefully undercooked vegetables, that's a completely different story all together", she was constantly kvetching. In fact, her tryst with Chinese cuisine was so ignominious, that doomsday predictions for the food began well before she entered the precincts of her kitchen!

Spicy and Delicious Curries Are Perfect For Your Next (Easy-Made) Dinner
If you are a curry lover, you know there are few meals as satisfying as a prawns curry. The richness is flavor is matched only by the richness of colors: the reds of peppers, bouncing off the yellows and greens of the curries, soaking the white of the rice and the pink of the prawns. Sweet in flavor and firm in texture, Prawns add a soothing element to spicier curries. If you are, however, hesitant of curries, perhaps it's because you prefer things less spicy. Great news: curry is not inherently spicy, it is actually not even its own spice. Curry powder, also known as masala powder, is a generic term for the combination of spices, including turmeric, red pepper and cumin common. Curry is popular in Asian and Southeast Asian recipes. Its spiciness is dependent on the level of red pepper, and other spicy additives. In most restaurants and certainly in your own home, you can add as much spice as you would like (or not like, depending).
